Noorkisaruni Oloinyo

From: Mairowa A sub-village, Ololosokwan

Noorkisaruni lives in Mairowa A with her five children, one boy and four girls. All of her children are currently studying in school. Her family also has two cows and two chickens. Before working with Maasai Honey, her husband passed away and it was very hard for Noorkisaruni to care for her family. She would do small jobs in order to get enough money for food.

Now, since beginning work with Maasai Honey, she is able to feed her children, send them to school, and buy their clothing. At work she likes to help with cleaning and also pressing honey. She is very grateful to Krysten (director of Maasai Honey) for improving her family’s livelihood. She hopes that the project can keep growing!
